Multisensory pre-writing tray and board set

RECOMMENDED AGE AND NOTES:
From 3 to 6 years.
The multisensory tray helps develop pre-writing and hand-eye coordination
through different senses. Depending on the child's age and abilities, you can
give them the freedom to play and experiment with the tray, or guide their learning.
In addition, the tray allows you to work on the concepts in the school curriculum
in a way that is more motivating for children. With materials such as chalk, marker or
sand, you capture the attention of the little ones and invite them to learn in a fun
and sensorial way.
Although the game is intended for children aged 3 to 6, it can also be used by older
children with special needs who need to work on hand-eye coordination,
fine motor skills or learning through touch.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
o Begin pre-writing through the sense of touch.
o Work on hand-eye coordination.
o Develop fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
o Develop the capacity for attention, observation, discrimination and execution.

HOW TO PLAY AND ACTIVITIES:
1. Pour some of the sand into the tray. A thin layer is enough.
2. Then place the board in the tray's support so that it is perpendicular to it.
3. Let's draw on one of the two boards what we want to work on, or ask the
child to freely create whatever they want. Letters, numbers, figures... can be
worked on... the level of difficulty will depend on the age and knowledge of
the child.
4. Next, we ask the child to reproduce in the sand the drawing
shown on the blackboard.
5. We use the sand smoother to make the sand flat and start
again.
6. For the child to acquire new skills, we can reverse the
process by drawing on the sand tray and asking them to reproduce it
on the chalkboard or on the magnetic board with a marker.
