Tactile cards for numbers and pre-writing

DESCRIPTION OF THE CARDS:
- 12 tactile tiles containing the numbers 0 to 10 and the mathematical signs
on the other side. Tile dimensions 9 cm.
- 11 tactile cards showing different paths for working on pre-writing
with very appealing illustrations that invite children to make the journey with
their finger over the rough surface. The elongated tiles measure: 18.8 x 9 cm
and the squares measure: 13.9 x 13.9 cm.
- All the cards have a notch on the lower part that indicates the
correct position of the tile.

Although it is recommended for children aged 3 to 6, it can also be used by older
children with special needs to work on learning numbers and
mathematical signs with a multisensory approach (using several senses at the same
time).
The rough surface encourages the hand movement needed for writing each
letter or symbol. The appealing colours and the strong colour contrast between the letter and
the background of the tiles make it easier to identify the shape of each letter for
children with visual impairments. In addition, the notch on the cards helps to position them
correctly and lets them play independently.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

RULES OF THE GAME:
1. Put all the tiles on the table and let the child choose the one that attracts
their attention most.
2. Invite the child to identify each tile by touching the rough surface, running
their finger over it. Remember that, for the
letter to be the right way up, the notch must be facing down.
3. While the child traces each tile, you can
explain whether the card is a number, a sign or a path and what type of
path it is: straight, curved, circular, open, closed, etc.
