Large multisensory pre-writing tray and board set

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

o Begin to write using the sense of touch.
o Work on hand-eye coordination.
o Develop fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
o Develop the capacity for attention, observation, discrimination and execution.
o Encourage creativity.

HOW TO PLAY AND ACTIVITIES:
1. Pour some of the sand into the pre-writing tray (it is recommended not
to put too much sand in order to write and draw better in the tray).
2. Then place the board in the tray's support so that it is
perpendicular to it.
3. Draw on one of the two boards the concept you want to work on, or
ask the child to freely create whatever they want. You can work on
EN
letters, numbers, figures, etc. The concept will depend on the age and
knowledge of the child.
4. Then ask them to reproduce in the sand the drawing that
appears on the board.
5. Use the smoother to make the sand flat again and start over.
6. As the child acquires skills, you can reverse
the process; draw on the tray and ask them to reproduce it on the board with
chalk or with the marker.
HOW TO PLAY IN A GROUP: The large size of the multisensory tray makes it possible to create and
experiment in a group too.
